Maximizing your Chase quarterly bonus!

If you activate your chase freedom card for this quarter, you will get 5% rewards for all purchases made from amazon.com or gas purchases, instead of the standard 1%. When you have a chase freedom and a chase checking, you get an additional 10 points per chase freedom swipe. To maximize on your point accumulation for this quarter, I would purchase amazon.com gift cards at small increments($10 amounts), to get the additional 10 points per swipe. At that point you can take all your small gift cards to make your larger purchase.
